Hotel San Camilo - Navarrete

The hotel is supposedly a great place, but I experienced disappointing service all around. The dinner service starts at a ridiculous 8:30 PM, and I couldn't even get a drink before then. To top it off, I expected a welcome gift for my effort of traveling, and it never happened. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't get there.

Nice breakfast for basic continental and very-very nice staff.

We had a quite comfortable stay at this traditional hotel. Spacious and fairly clean property, location was excellent and unbeatable right by the ferry port, and the ferry at Santander. The breakfast was excellent and the food was outstanding. The room was good sized, airy and included a minibar, central heating and an iron. Thoroughly enjoyed the location in the otherwise very nice cafeteria.

Beautifully maintained garden that provides a tranquil escape. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast selection was varied and delicious. The lack of an on-site restaurant was a bit disappointing, as we had planned to dine there.

we were only passing but will be back one day to stay longer hopefully it will not be raining.

Good comfortable hotel, very quiet and easily accessable to the Camino de Santiago way.

Just an ideal choice for getting around area in Navarrete with high value for money. I loved the spacious room that was bothvery comfy and tidy. Make sure to explore the lovely local wine in the restaurant.

We have used it before. Excellent location, parking. Lovely situation - it is used a lot for weddings-attractive gardens. Quiet and very well placed for touring the La Rioja region. Last time we stayed over two weeks, it was that good!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We only used it as a stop over, but were very pleased with our stay.

There were no family rooms, so we had to book two seperate rooms for our stay which is a shame.

Dinner service starts late at 8:30 PM, which might not suit everyone. The shower in the small room had a low head, made it hard to stand up fully. Breakfast was basic and unimpressive, and the bar didn't open until 8 PM, pushing guests to venture into the village for drinks if they arrived early.

Quiet location with convenient access to the motorway and a short walk from the small town of Naverette. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable and we enjoyed being able to walk our dogs in the large grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were unable to purchase a hot drink or snack, the restaurant and bar were closed for the day.

The location was perfect for our journey to catch the ferry in santander. We really loved the fantastic buffet breakfast every morning, and the grounds were lovely for a morning stroll. The staff were friendly and professional!

We asked around and eventually found the hotel on the road out of Navarette. Not sure why the price of the room went up from E70.00 to E93.00 as there was nothing special about the room we were given.

We struggled to find the hotel - it is on the road out of Navarette. When we changed the date from the Thursday to the Friday, the cost of the room increased from E70 to E93 - not sure why as there was nothing special about the room we were given.

The location, room and service was exellent.

Late time for evening meal
